The corridor’s sweet spot

Why The Woodlands keeps its boats on the lake

Close enough that a lake day is an easy habit; far enough that towing a boat back and forth every weekend wears thin fast. For most Woodlands boaters, the boat simply belongs on the water.

No boat in the driveway

Many Woodlands neighborhoods don’t allow a boat or trailer to sit out front — and even where they do, it’s an eyesore taking up the driveway all week. Store it on the lake instead, out of the weather and out of sight.

No tow vehicle required

You don’t need a truck or a trailer at all. Drive your everyday car up I-45, park in your stall, and step onto a boat our valet crew already has run-ready.

Your time is the whole point

For a community built around convenience, the math is easy: a lake day starts the moment you park — not an hour later at a public ramp. We launch you and pull you out.

Open water, minutes away

Lake Conroe is 21,000 acres of open water — and E-Z Boat sits at the quiet north end, off the FM 1097 bridge on the edge of the Sam Houston National Forest.

The Woodlands boater FAQ

How far is E-Z Boat Storage from The Woodlands?

About 25 min — roughly 19 miles straight up I-45 North, exiting at FM 1097 in Willis. It’s one of the easiest drives on the lake from the corridor.

Do I need a truck or trailer to store my boat here?

No. That’s the point of valet storage — you drive up in your regular car, and our crew moves your boat between its stall and the water with our launch tractors. No tow vehicle, no trailering, no backing down a ramp.

Can I keep my wakeboard tower or hardtop up?

Yes — we have enclosed stalls with headers up to 13 feet, so most towers and hardtops stay up. Tell us your boat and beam and we’ll match you to a stall that fits. See our stall sizes for the full range.

How does launching work when I arrive?

Radio a valet when you get here. We pull your boat from its stall, launch you from one of five deep-water ramps, and park your trailer-free — you just step aboard. When you’re done, show us your stall number and we retrieve it.

Is there fuel on the lake?

Yes — the closest, best-stocked fuel dock on Lake Conroe is minutes from the launch, with three grades of fuel. Fuel up on the way out, no gas cans required.
